I could safely say that Vanguards are at least A-tier now! (if you don't believe me, take a look at the Fabled/Vanguard team I just won 1st place with!) TFT Patch 11.7 - Champion changes and adjustments Nidalee 200 Armor makes a huge difference in the late game, especially since there are a lot of players going for Sharpshooters, Slayers and other Physical-heavy comps. Now with the latest patch, Vanguards are finally back to their original strength, which is nothing short of amazing. While it's not super easy to get 8 Vanguards, it should have been way more rewarding to do so (when compared to 8 Divine or 8 Brawlers). Patch 11.7 is not the patch that will be played in the TFT Fates Worlds championship though, so don't be alarmed if you don't get to see the mighty 8-Vanguards team rock it out on the big stage. Units that slowly fell off, such as Nidalee, are getting some more damage, and the 4-cost units that didn't seem to bring that "wow" element before are no longer being overlooked.

The self-healing aspect of Syphoner's is higher than that of champions who aren't part of the trait. This trait will heal for a certain amount of damage they've dealt. If the Slayer's health falls low, the lifesteal is increased to 60%. This means that in a 3-Slayer comp a Slayer will deal 30% damage and gain 30% lifesteal. Slayer champions will deal more damage to low health opponents and when their own health falls low they will also gain more lifesteal. This trait gains lifesteal and bonus damage depending on their buff. Slayer (3/6) is another new trait that will include a total of 6 champions – Zed and Pyke as 2-cost, Darius as 3-cost, Olaf and Tryndamere as 4-cost and Samira as a 5-cost. Also, having only long-ranged Dragonsoul champions will also negate the buff, since they might not take any damage from the backline. To play Dragonsoul players will have to position their champions correctly, since getting the Dragonsoul buff onto a champion like Braum won’t be any good since he is merely a human meat shield.
Dragonsoul (3/6/9) will include 7 new champions – Brand and Tristana as 1-cost, Braum as 2-cost, Shyvanna as 3-cost, Aurelion Sol and Olaf as 4-cost and Swain as 5-cost.
